A: The website migration service offered by Websites Express Hosting is entirely free of charge and consists of moving all your web files, databases and e–mails from your current provider to your new web hosting account with us. We will also edit all the configuration settings needed for your web sites to be fully operational on our innovative cloud hosting platform.Our technicians are completely capable of transferring any sort of website. With years of experience behind their backs, they’re experts in the inner workings of our web hosting platform, our Control Panel and all other well–known Control Panels. For them, moving a custom application with a lot of custom libraries is as elementary as moving a simple WordPress–based weblog.

A: While we cannot give you an exact time frame, because there are lots of variables, among them the size of the web files and databases, the physical location of the current host’s server, the complexity of your site and the present workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we’ll try our very best to move your web site within 48h, and in some cases – within 24h (if the content is not very large).

A: Yeah. We will need to have the name of the site that you’d like us to move. We will also need a way to access your current web hosting account so that we can get the content associated with your site.

A: Your web site will work exactly like it did before with your previous web hosting provider. Once we are through with the transfer, your website will be configured to work on our system and we will alert you to preview it. If everything is functioning properly, all you will need to do is change the name server records pertaining to your domain name. Your site will be transferred to us without any downtime whatsoever.

A: No. We’ll never touch base with your web hosting provider about anything. They will not be aware of the website migration either.

A: Yup. We support all traditional Linux–driven hosting platforms. We don’t support Windows–driven web hosting platforms, since we do not provide Windows hosting services ourselves.Furthermore, we do not support proprietary web site building and management tools like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
